Happy Holidays, guys! This December is our slow season, but we are still expecting guests to bring us some holiday cheer. Remember, during our slow season, our rates dip down to just $79 for a queen size bedroom.

There are plenty of activities to bring you to the area this chilly season. While the lowlands such as Bakersfield are dreary and foggy most days this month, you’ll find crisp, clear weather here in the higher elevations.

Just down the road, the Kern River Brewing Co. has delivered an excellent seasonal Winter Ale. This double IPA draws similarities to their award-winning Citra & will warm your bones.

James Store has a quality meat-counter, where you can find high-quality porterhouse steaks, perfect for bringing back to the Lodge where you can grill ‘em up on our propane or charcoal grills. Each of our patios has a grill with tables & comfortable seating.
